Hold the Send
LotBeacon vs Numa
LotBeacon helps a dealership rep check a written reply before sending it. Numa describes a broader system for dealership calls, messages, and service appointments. Start with the job your store needs handled: a checked draft for a person to send, or connected communications across the dealership.
What does Numa offer?
Numa calls its product “The AI Operating System for Car Dealerships.” Its public site describes Voice AI, appointment booking, a shared inbox with repair-order context, call routing, and sales-call handling with inventory context. It also lists DMS, scheduler, and CRM connections.

What does LotBeacon do today?
Your rep pastes a thread and the available facts into the desk. LotBeacon drafts a reply and checks claims against those facts and house rules. Unsupported discounts, payments, approvals, trade values, and holds are flagged. A person reviews the draft and copies it back to Messenger or the CRM to send.
LotBeacon is not a phone-answering service or a replacement for your DMS. Live Page connections, shared queues, and some store-level controls are still rolling out. Read the feature map and trust page for current limits.
Which workflow should you compare?
Consider LotBeacon when the rep already owns the conversation and wants a second check before Send. Consider Numa when your main need is call handling, service booking, or connected dealership communications. This is a comparison of scope, not a claim that one tool prevents every error.
LotBeacon publishes Solo $149, Independent Lot $299, and Franchise Store $599 per month. There is no onboarding fee. Review current plans and terms, then try the fictional click demo.
Questions
Can I cancel?
Yes. Monthly plans are month to month, and you can cancel any time; there is no refund for the current month. Yearly plans can also be canceled any time, with no refund for the current year. New orders have no onboarding fee. The terms under the pay button apply to your order. Contact nathan@holdthesend.com to arrange cancellation.
Does it send on its own?
No. A person presses Send on every message. Today, your rep pastes the thread into the desk, reviews the checked draft, and copies the reply back to Messenger or the CRM. Live Page connections are rolling out store by store.
Is there a free trial?
Individual reps can start a 14-day Solo trial with a card upfront, then $149/month. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Start at /solo-trial. Stores and higher plans use a 15-minute check on recent leads, not a trial.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
ChatGPT drafts a reply. It does not check that reply against your facts, your prices, or your house rules. Hold the Send does, and it holds the draft until a person presses Send.
What does the 15-minute call cover?
Nathan pastes your own leads from last week into LotBeacon, drafts the replies live, and shows you the check catching any wrong price, payment, or promise before Send.
Is this approved by any automaker?
No. Hold the Send is not approved or certified by any automaker. It is a desk tool for the rep, not a dealership system integration.
What does it cost per message?
Nothing per message. Solo is $149/mo, Independent Lot is $299/mo, Franchise Store is $599/mo. No per-message meter, month to month.
What happens after the founding period?
The founding rate locks for 12 months for the first 20 licenses. After that, standard pricing applies.
