LotBeacon roadmap

LotBeacon drafts the reply from the facts the rep pastes, checks it against the house rules, and flags a price or payment ask for a manager. A person presses Send. This roadmap is shaped by what dealers told us they love and hate about lead, appointment and showroom tools. I listen because I care, and the sources are right here.

Built from a review of 61 public sources across 21 sites (Oct 15 to 16, 2026), gathered by web research, not a survey we ran. 25 sources from 11 publishers made the cut and are linked below. How we listen

ASAP: We heard youScale fixes from our own load test

We load tested LotBeacon with simulated traffic sized for a large multi-store group, on a separate test copy, never the live site. None of it was real store traffic. Here is everything that bent, and what we are doing about it.

  • ASAP · Before store 11

Sign-in that stays fast with thousands of reps

We heard you: What if a couple hundred stores sign up in the same week? In our test, sign-in slowed and then failed once one sign-in list held more than about 40 reps.

The fix: Each rep's code is looked up directly in a store database, so sign-in checks one code, not the whole list.

  • ASAP · Before store 11

Self-serve bulk invites in the live desk

We heard you: Can a small team really onboard a big wave of stores? Today a new rep's code is added by hand.

The fix: Owners upload a roster file and invites go out the same day, with no wait on us. This already works in the demo.

  • ASAP · Next 2 weeks

Rate limits that hold exactly, and a daily cap per store

We heard you: The per-rep and per-IP limits let extra drafts through under burst, and one shared daily cap could pause every store at once.

The fix: Exact counters for each rep and each store. One busy store can never slow down another.

Partly built: Exact counters are built and tested on a test copy. They switch on with our hosting upgrade; until then today's limits apply.

  • ASAP · This week

Capacity headroom and a separate test copy

We heard you: Test traffic and live traffic shared one set of daily hosting limits.

The fix: Paid hosting capacity for the live desk, plus a fully separate test copy, so a test never touches a live store.

  • ASAP · Next 2 weeks

    Drafts in under 5 seconds

We heard you: A real draft took about 8 seconds at the median and up to 17 seconds at the slowest.

The fix: A faster model setting brought the median to about 5 seconds in testing. It ships once reply quality checks pass.

  • ASAP · Next 2 weeks

    Scoreboard taps that never error

We heard you: Under heavy load, a Copied or Sent tap could fail when a storage limit was reached.

The fix: Counts are saved in the background and retried. A rep's tap always works.

Partly built: Since Oct 17, a tap no longer fails when a storage limit is reached; the count is held on the server for a short time instead. Saving it in the background with retries is still to come.

  • ASAP · Before store 11

Onboarding in waves, with a named contact

We heard you: Who answers when 100 stores start on the same day? That is about 75 hours of hands-on setup.

The fix: Weekly onboarding waves, recorded training, a help desk with a response-time promise, and a named contact for every group.

  • ASAP · After the fixes above

Load test results on the trust page

We heard you: Prove the scale claims with numbers, not adjectives.

The fix: The method, the numbers and the limits, published as they are. Rerun after every fix above.

Partly built: First results are on the trust page now. The rerun comes after the fixes above.

Lot Heat MapNow in the demo

In the demo · sample data

Lot Heat Map (unlocks after your first reps onboard)

Upload a satellite view of your lot and LotBeacon turns it into a clean black-and-white map. You outline the new, used and service zones (service is ignored), and LotBeacon places each unit in a space. Spaces heat up as reps log buyer interest, so you can see where the hot units sit and whether to move them for more walk-up and drive-by traffic.

Heat comes from rep-logged buyer interest, not tracking people.

Try it in the demo with any of the three sample stores. Satellite upload and zone outlining on your own lot come later.

What we won't buildOn purpose

  • Sending on its own

A person always presses Send. No autonomous mode, overnight auto-replies or AI phone agent.

Why we didn't: AI is not set and forget. Fake-fast auto-replies and dropped AI handoffs are what dealers complain about.

    Sources (3)
  • Multi-line auto-dialing to buyers

Buyers who asked to hear from you can tell, and it feels like a robot.

Why we didn't: Parallel dialers create a delay buyers notice, and generic AI text feels robotic.

    Sources (3)
  • Bought contact lists and cold email

Your best list is your own sold and service customers.

  • Points for raw activity

We reward shows, sales and reviews, not dials.

  • Admin only an expert can run

If a manager can't change a setting in two minutes, we simplify it or cut it.

Why we didn't: Reviewers of sales-engagement tools report steep learning curves and admin that needs an expert.

    Sources (4)

Plans stay month to month. Roadmap items are planned, not promised, and timing may change. See how we compare on vs the field, pricing or request a founding-dealer pilot.
